Camp Them

Camp Them is a campsite with eight beautiful shelters distributed among eight separate shelter sites with their own fire pits. In the center of the site, three impressive communal buildings have been constructed in the form of an outdoor kitchen/canteen, a grandstand house, and an “outdoor living room”. In other words, Camp Them offers everything an outdoor enthusiast could desire. The site is for everyone, and individual shelters will soon be available for booking at Them Hallerne. We encourage everyone to treat the site well and with respect for the buildings, nature, and outdoor life. One should also remember that this is a large site that can accommodate many people, so remember to treat other visitors as you would like to be treated yourself. We also refer to the guidelines for the site. The history of Camp Them is that for 15 years, the area was a completely unused and overgrown plot, housing three dilapidated tennis courts that had not been used for many years. The tennis club in Them had closed many years ago, and for almost as long, there had been no maintenance of the three tennis courts. With Camp Them, the area could be revitalized, thus transforming from sad tennis courts into an Outdoor-beacon. South of Camp Them, hundreds of thousands of new trees have been planted in 2023 and 2024 – this means that Camp Them will be directly integrated into these forests within a foreseeable number of years.
