Lille Hareskov, lejrplads med shelter på Gisselfeldengen

At the edge between the meadow and the forest, there is a campsite with a shelter. The shelter has 6 rooms and thus space for 18-24 sleepers. The campsite is located on the northeastern part of the meadow, 300-400 meters from Skovlystvej. There is also a primitive toilet, without water, inside the forest edge. Remember to bring your own toilet paper and wet wipes. During the summer half of the year, water can be fetched from the fire hydrant at Ravnehus (Ravnehusvej 45). The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools, and institutions. The site can be booked for overnight stays, however for a maximum of 4 nights. Booking can be made at the earliest one year before the overnight stay. With a booking, you must occupy the campsite before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right lapses. If the site is not booked, it can be used during daylight hours on a “first come, first served” basis. You will typically be able to gather some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Protect living trees. Remember to extinguish the fire when you leave it. Motorized access to the site is not permitted, and no permission can be sought for this. There are no trash bins, so remember to bring a trash bag for your rubbish so you can take it with you when you leave the site. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Follow instructions on the information sign at the campsite.
