Lille Hareskov, lejrpladsen Gisselfeldengen

The campsite is located on Gisselfeldengen in Lille Hareskov. There is space for approximately 100 overnight tent campers on the meadow. Please note that there is no shelter at this site. If you wish to book the shelter on Gisselfeldengen, you should instead choose “Hareskovene, campsite with shelter on Gisselfeldengen”. During the summer half-year, water can be fetched from a fire hydrant at Ravnehus (Ravnehusvej 45). There is a primitive toilet without water up by the shelter. Remember to bring your own toilet paper and wet wipes. The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools, and institutions. The site can be booked for overnight stays, however, for a maximum of 4 nights. Bookings can be made no earlier than one year before the overnight stay. With a booking, you must occupy the campsite before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right is forfeited. If the site is not booked, it can be used during daylight hours on a “first come, first served” basis. You will typically be able to gather some firewood around the site, but if you want to ensure dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Spare the living trees. Remember to extinguish the fire when you leave it. Motor vehicle access to the site is not allowed, and permission cannot be sought for this. No trash cans are set up, so remember to bring a trash bag for your garbage so you can take it with you when you leave the site. Leave the site as you wish to find it. Follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite.
