Nokkeskov - To sheltere ved vandet

Primitive overnight accommodation site close to the coast in the southeastern corner of Nokkeskoven on Avnø. The site can be used by visitors arriving from the land side as well as those coming from the sea side, e.g., by kayak. On the site, there are 2 shelters, an area for tents, and two permanent barbecue spots. Dry firewood may be collected from the forest floor in Nokkeskoven - but please leave the living trees alone. Approximately 12 people can sleep in the shelters and about 20 people in tents. There is a primitive toilet close to the site. Drinking water can be fetched at the nature school on Avnø. It is not possible to drive a car to the site. You park at the nature school and walk from there. The shelter was built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
