About this spot
Shelter site with 4 shelters, 4 fire pits, and tables/benches in the forest’s southwest corner close to the water and close to the forest’s other overnight camping spot. There is a primitive toilet adjacent to the site. Firewood may be collected from the forest floor, but trees must not be cut down. Feel free to bring your own firewood. Drinking water can be obtained at Avnø Naturcenter. It is not possible to drive a car to the site. Parking is available at the nature center approximately 1.5 kilometers away.
