About this spot
Shelter site with 4 shelters, 4 fire pits, and tables/benches in the forest’s southwest corner, close to the water and close to the forest’s other overnight accommodation site. There is a primitive toilet associated with the site. Firewood may be collected from the forest floor, but trees must not be felled. Feel free to bring your own firewood. Drinking water can be fetched at Avnø Naturcenter. It is not possible to drive a car to the site. Parking is at the nature center, approx. 1.5 kilometers away.
