Isbjerget, Varde

At the traffic light on Nordre Boulevard, turn left onto Ortenvej. After approx. 2 km, turn left again towards Isbjerg. On Isbjerg, there is a large parking area for cars. Alternatively, you can walk along the town’s established trail system from Møllekvarteret, through Sletten and Slugten/Bjerget. In the northern corner between Bjerget and Slugten, a wooden bridge has been built, which, together with a paved path, also leads up to the viewpoint Isbjerg. At the beginning of the bridge, a shelter area has been established with table and bench sets and waste bins. Table and bench sets are set up both along the path and on Isbjerg itself. Although Isbjerg is only approx. 30 m above sea level, from the viewpoint on Isbjerg, there is a fantastic view of Varde town - and in clear weather, you can also see Esbjerg.
