Isbjerg ved Varde

From “Isbjerg”, which is the highest point in the area and offers a great view of Varde town, a newly laid wood chip path leads down and towards the town. At the end of the path and on Grundejerforening Bjerget’s common area, 2 shelters and a fire pit have been built. Shopping: 1.5 km. Access from Ortenvej: Heading north, turn left onto the gravel path after the last “house in town”. Follow the gravel road around the lake and park your bike by the footbridge. Both shelters are sheltered on the other side of the trees. Access from Isbjerg Møllevej: Heading north, turn right onto “Bjerget”. Follow the road around to the turning area. Turn right onto the path at the turning area and you will be able to see both shelters from here. NB. It is not permitted to park a car in the area.
