Hoppes Shelterplads

Large campfire house with a grill in the middle and built-in shelter spots. The campfire house is located at the edge of a small forest grove in the young Hoppes Skov and close to Svanemosen. Space for 25 sleeping guests. Tables and benches in dry conditions. There is access to a composting toilet – bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. It is permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use at the campfire site, but it is a young forest, so there isn’t much wood on the forest floor. The campfire hut and shelter site are reserved for larger groups in connection with special types of events, such as school, sports, or scout events, camps based on a given religious belief, etc. (minimum 15 people) and must be booked directly via the “Book here” button or via Naturstyrstyrelsens booking system. Note that your booking will be canceled if you have not arrived at the site by 8:00 PM. If no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period. The parking lot with the address Tværford 25 is no longer available. Similarly, there is no parking lot or access to the bird tower or shelter site via Sangfuglevej. Instead, use Parkeringsplads Hoppeshave at Tværford.
