About this spot
Campsite with a shelter, with room for approximately 24 people, located on a meadow in the forest with a slope down to Furesøen. One grill area, one campfire site, and a primitive toilet without water. Remember to bring your own toilet paper and wet wipes. During the summer season, water can be fetched from a tap on a fire hydrant by the road Ved Kulhus. Located approximately 600 m from the road Ved Kulhus. Parking must take place at the parking lot by Frederiksborgvej/Ved Kulhus. The campsite is closest to Furesøen compared to the “Ny Åsevang” campsite. The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, such as associations, schools, and institutions. The site can be booked for overnight stays, for a maximum of 4 nights. Bookings can be made no earlier than one year before the stay. With a booking, you must occupy the campsite before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right lapses. If the site is not booked, it can be used during daytime on a first-come, first-served basis. You will typically be able to gather some firewood around the site, but if you want to be sure of dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Spare the living trees. Motor vehicle access to the site is not permitted, and permission cannot be sought for this. There are no trash cans installed, so remember to bring a trash bag for your garbage so you can take it with you when you leave the site. Leave the site as you wish to find it. Follow instructions on the info sign at the campsite.
