Shelter with room for 5-6 people. At the shelter, there is a fire pit with a grill and a picnic table. There is one more shelter at the site, which can be booked separately. Bring bags for collecting your own waste, toilet paper, and wet wipes. Leave the site cleaned, as you would wish to find it yourself. The site is located high on a meadow surrounded by forest and near Furesø. During the summer half-year, water can be collected from a tap on a fire hydrant by the road Ved Kulhus. Located approx. 600 m from the road Ved Kulhus. It is permitted to gather small wood for firewood, but if you want to ensure it’s dry, you should bring your own firewood or charcoal. It may be good to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and firelighters. Never saw living trees! You are welcome to pitch a few smaller (2-3 person) tents at the site if you are more people. Otherwise, follow the instructions on the information sign at the site. There is a primitive composting toilet on the other side of the meadow; bring your own toilet paper and wet wipes. As there is a private neighbor directly south of Åsevang, please do not stay closer than 100 meters from the house. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelter. You can stay for a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. It is only one of the shelters you are booking. Others can simultaneously use facilities and pitch a tent at the site and share the fire pit. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right will expire. Access: The nearest parking lot can be found at Frederiksborgvej/Ved Kulhus.
