About this spot
The site is located in Silkeborg Østerskov, on the Aarhus-Silkeborg hiking route below Karoline Amalies Høj. At the site, there is a campfire area and a composting toilet. Firewood can be gathered from the forest floor. There is no drinking water at the site, but during the season, it can be collected at the forest ranger stations Myrhus (at the north end of Østerskoven) or Borresøhus (at the south end of Østerskoven by Paradisvejen). The tent site is not bookable. There is a shelter at the site that can be booked separately via www.udinaturen.dk.
