The campfire hut was constructed thanks to foundation grants on a scout area used by two scout groups as well as Hillerød-gilderne. The campfire hut is publicly accessible on weekdays between 8 AM and 4 PM or by special arrangement. It may be used by daily users, especially on weekday evenings and weekends. Booking must be made to the email address [email protected] (applies to all time slots). A maximum of one year in advance can be booked. A fee of DKK 200 per day is charged for operation, maintenance, etc. In connection with the campfire hut, there is a combined outdoor kitchen/outdoor laboratory, which can be booked together with the campfire hut. Furthermore, there is access to a disabled toilet from 8 AM to 10 PM, except for the winter period when it is closed to avoid frost problems. Please note: Firewood for personal use must be brought. The contents of the woodshed belong to Hillerød-gilderne. After lighting the fire, it must be extinguished without using water. The fire is smothered with the accompanying lid.
