Ræven shelter

The Ræven shelter is located in Stenholtsvang close to Hillerød. There is space for two people, maybe three if you lie a bit close. There is a bench and a small campfire site. The shelter is located by a small bog hole, where there is water at times. The area is filled with new growth of both birch and oak. The spot is not suitable for people with mobility impairments or wheelchair users, as it is difficult to access due to the vegetation. You can reach the shelter by public transport, by hiking from Hillerød station, which is about 5 to 6 kilometers away. You can also take the train to Slotspavillonens train stop, where there will be a hike of 2 to 3 kilometers. You can also park in one of the forest parking areas around Stenholtsvang, where the nearest parking lot is about 1.5 kilometers from the shelter.
