The fire hut belongs to Aarhus Municipality and can be booked via Book Naturen. The fire hut in Lystrup Sønderskov is equipped with fixed benches along the sides and is perfectly suited for many different types of activities, as it is located at the end of a large open grass area. Close to the fire hut there is a large nature playground, where picnic tables can also be found. Lystrup Sønderskov is designated as a dog forest, and it is therefore permitted to walk your dog off-leash, provided the dog is under full control. Practical information: Bring your own firewood. It is permitted to collect dry branches from the forest floor. There is seating for approximately 30 people in the fire hut. Directions: At the end of Bygaden 1, 8520 Lystrup, a path leads directly to the site. The site can also be reached from the opposite end, starting at Lystrup Church. Furthermore, a parking lot is located at the intersection of Lystrupvej and Lystrup Centervej. If you are using public transport, you can take bus 18 or the Light Rail to Lystrup.
