Shelter ved Moesgård Strand

The shelter belongs to Aarhus Municipality and can be booked via Book Naturen. South of Aarhus, about 300 meters from one of Aarhus’ best bathing beaches, Moesgård beach, this shelter lies sheltered by tall trees. The shelter is located on an open grass area, where there are opportunities for many activities. In front of the shelter there is a fire pit. Practical information: • If you have booked a shelter, you have automatically booked the associated fire pit. • You must bring your own firewood. • You are allowed to collect dry branches from the forest floor. • You must take your waste home with you, so remember trash bags. • The toilet building at Moesgård Strand is open all day. • From the shelter, it is about 300 meters down to the beach, where drinking water taps can also be found. • Parking is available at Moesgård Strand. Directions: In the bend on Strandskovvej, just before Moesgaard Strand, there is a yellow toilet building. Just before it, a path goes behind, towards the southwest. About 50 meters along the path, there is a meadow on your left (south). The shelter is located about 50 meters into the meadow. GPS: 56°05’18.8”N 10°14’39.4”E.
