Address: Åkirkevej 51, 6851 Janderup. Ladepladsen has been a natural harbor where ships anchored at high tide, and at low tide, goods were transported out for further shipment. On the wall of the bonfire hut, there are display boards telling about the life that took place at the site in olden days. There is direct access to Varde Å via a footbridge and a jetty. And there are good mooring options, whether you arrive by boat, canoe, or kayak. There is a parking lot immediately nearby. The site serves as an overnight stop for hikers on the Kyst til Kyst Stien. However, everyone is welcome to pitch a tent, stay overnight in the shelter, or simply eat their packed food in the bonfire hut. So whether you arrive by water, on foot, by bike, or by car, you are welcome. Also available on site: Water tap, Outhouse, Fire pit in the hut (fire only allowed in the fire pit), Firewood, saw, Several picnic tables, Shelter, Stork’s nest (renovated 2021).
