About this spot

Address: Åkirkevej 51, 6851 Janderup. Ladepladsen has been a natural harbor where ships anchored at high tide, and at low tide, goods to be transported further were brought out. On the wall of the fire hut, there are information boards detailing the life that unfolded at the site in olden days. There is direct access to Varde Å via a footbridge and a jetty. And there are good opportunities to moor, whether you arrive by boat, canoe, or kayak. There is a parking lot immediately nearby. The site serves as an overnight stop for hikers on the Coast to Coast Trail. However, everyone is welcome to pitch a tent, stay overnight in the shelter, or simply eat their packed meal in the fire hut. So whether you arrive by water, on foot, by bike, or by car, you are welcome. Also on site: Water tap, Outhouse Fire pit in the hut (fire only allowed in the fire pit), Firewood, saw Several table-bench sets Shelter Storkerede (renovated 2021)
