Besides the shelter, there is a campfire site with a grill and possibly a table-and-bench set. There is no toilet and no waste container. Bring plastic bags to take your own waste, toilet paper, and wet wipes home. Leave the site as you would like to find it. It is permitted to gather small dry wood from the forest floor for use in the fire pit. For this, it is good to bring a small saw, a small splitting axe, and firelighters. Never saw into living trees. Alternatively, bring charcoal. You can set up a few supplementary tents by the shelter. Otherwise, follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelter. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. You are only booking the shelter. Others may simultaneously use facilities and pitch tents on the site. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise your priority right will expire. Motor vehicle access to the site is not permitted, and permission cannot be sought for this.
