Nybæk Plantage - overnatningsplads med sheltere

Two small 4-person shelters are located just east of the picnic house in Nybæk Plantage. Tents cannot be pitched near the shelters as the terrain is very uneven, but the shelters themselves are certainly good for sleeping. The shelters cannot be booked, so use is “first come, first served” – make space so there is room for more. You may stay a maximum of 2 nights at the same site. No fires are allowed by the shelters – use the fire pit at the picnic house. Firewood is often available here, and dry branches may be collected from the forest floor. At the picnic house, there is also drinking water (during the summer season) and a composting toilet. Storm stoves or similar may be used at the shelters if they are stable and fire-safe – e.g., on a small plate you bring yourself. Keep the site neat and clean and always take your trash with you. The local hiking trail “Mortens Sti” (blue) passes right by. Parking is available at the Løkkensvej parking lot, approximately 250 meters away. The place is run by local organizations in Løkken.
