About this spot

The shelter site at Agernæs is part of the Blå Støttepunkter shelter concept, where you can stay overnight in new, modern, coastal shelters all around Fyn. The shelter must be booked on www.bookenshelter.dk, and it costs DKK 30 per person per night. There is space for 4 people in the shelter – 5 if one person wants to sleep on the floor. The shelter site is located approximately 125 m south of Agernæs Havn, on the way towards Helnæs. There are toilets and water at the harbor. A fire pit has been set up at the site. If there is firewood in the woodshed, you are welcome to use a limited quantity. It costs DKK 20, which can be paid via MobilePay no. 878 119. Firewood is only laid out occasionally, so if you want to be sure to make a fire, bring your own firewood. Naturally, trees and bushes at the site must not be felled or cut. The shelter is wonderfully situated with water on both sides. But this also means it can be windy! The shelter is on private land, so please show consideration. One half of the shelter is divided into levels, so two can sleep upstairs and two downstairs. A fifth person can optionally sleep on the floor in the other half of the shelter. The shelter has many doors, hatches, and windows, so in good weather, you can get plenty of light and air. In bad weather, the shelter can be almost completely closed off. However, there is one opening that cannot be closed. It is a requirement that a shelter must have at least one permanent opening. Remember to close all doors and windows when leaving the shelter.
