Aa Strand Camping

The shelter site is somewhat secluded within Aa Strand Campingplads. There are two shelters, with space for 4 people in each – 5 if one person wants to sleep on the floor. During the camping season from April to mid-September, the campsite’s toilet and drinking water can be used by those staying overnight in the shelters. Outside the season, the service building is closed. There is a fire pit and firewood can be purchased at the site. The shelters must be booked on www.bookenshelter.dk, and it costs 50 DKK per person per night. One half of each shelter is divided into levels, so two can sleep upstairs and two downstairs. A fifth person can sleep on the floor in the other half of the shelter. The shelter has many doors, hatches, and windows, so in good weather, you can get plenty of light and air. In bad weather, the shelter can be almost completely closed off. However, there is one opening that cannot be closed. It is a requirement that a shelter must have at least one permanent opening. Remember to close all doors and windows when leaving the shelter.
