The communal hut functions as the village’s outdoor, covered meeting place, where the residents’ association holds local events. The hut can be used by all nature lovers who wish to meet for breaks, exercise, and play. Inside the hut, on information boards, one can read about nature trails, animals, plants, culture, and history in Århus Ådal. The hut’s purpose is to promote social communities, nature communication, and nature activities. The site is arranged to be child-friendly with opportunities for free play and sensory experiences. In the hut there is a child-friendly information board. The tool shed is locked and is for members’ use only. There is no toilet or trash can. No overnight stays. Fires only permitted under the auspices of the Residents’ Association. Rules for staying at the site/hut are described in the hut at the entrance to the site. With its beautiful sedum roof and its attractive natural expression, the hut is a landmark for the area. During walks and bike rides in the nature of Aarhus Ådal, it will be a natural starting point for nature activities. Come by and enjoy a break in Gl.
