Vingsted

The campsite by Vingsted Sø is located at the edge of the vegetation, facing an open area. There is access to a toilet and water in the toilet building near the Iron Age environment. There is firewood at the campsite, and firewood may be gathered from the forest floor in the surrounding forest. Vingsted Sø is one of the country’s exciting Iron Age weapon offering bogs. On the areas down to Vingsted Sø, Iron Age houses have been built. Vingsted Historiske Værksted operates and uses the area for teaching school classes. There is free access to the area, and you are welcome to walk around and look. Remember to be considerate if there is teaching ongoing.
