Private individuals and smaller groups can use the spot on a first-come, first-served basis and may stay one night. Remember to show good shelter etiquette, and make room if there is space for more in the shelter. Each shelter can accommodate 6 adults. Stays are limited to one night. It is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor for firewood. Do not cut down live trees or break branches off live trees. Remember to extinguish the fire THOROUGHLY, so no embers remain - or stay until the fire has completely burned out to prevent wildfires. Near the parking lot, there is a primitive toilet, and at Springbakkevej, there is a water tap that is open all year. Parking: Drive to Springbakkevejen 9. The area is grazed by a herd of calm Galloway cattle, which maintain the nature and keep it open and bright. The shelter site was established with support from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency’s outdoor recreation fund in 2020.
