About this spot
This traditional shelter is located in Laaddenbjerg Plantage on Ærø. The site is ideal for hikers on the Øhavsstien trail (200 meters) or those arriving from the sea and mooring at the sea kayak bridge at Vitsø (300 meters). The two yellow entrance towers on Skovvejen welcome forest guests. An information board shows the shelter’s location, but if you follow the wide path into the forest, you will be led directly to the site, which is on the left side, approx. 200 meters in. A pictogram shows the way. Laaddenbjerg Naturfond wishes them a pleasant stay. Number of shelters: 1 Total overnight sleeping spaces: 6 Campfire site: There is a campfire site in front of the shelter. Firewood may be collected in the forest for personal use. Distance to water: approx. 300 meters. Distance to Øhavsstien: approx. 200 meters. Dogs on leash permitted.
