About this spot
The campsite is located approx. 1.5 km from Gillelejevej by Esrum Sø. There is room for approx. 20 tents. Fires are only allowed at the established fire pits. Driving into the forest to the campsite is not permitted. There is water at the north end of the campsite, by the fence to Skovløberhuset. You must bring your own firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood. The campsite must be left tidy, including the fire pit, and all rubbish must be taken out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the campsite.
