About this spot
This shelter site is located by the old gravel pit, in the middle of nature. There are two shelters on the site available for use, each with space for 5 people. There are tables and benches on the site and a fire pit, so you can cook over an open fire. There is also a toilet and a packed lunch house nearby. Running water is available at the toilet. You must bring your own firewood. There are waste bins in the area. Parking is not allowed at the shelters, but at the parking lot at Hulvej 31, 6731 Tjæreborg. It is approximately 500m from the parking lot to the shelters, toilet, and packed lunch house.
