Overnight shelter located at a campsite. By the shelter, there is a fire ring with a grill grate and picnic tables. At the campsite, there is a primitive toilet and a water tap. The campsite is located approximately 400 m along a paved, flat road from the parking lot at Sandet 91, 3500 Værløse. You can book priority for an overnight stay in the shelter. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights in the shelter. You are only booking the shelter. Others may simultaneously use the facilities and pitch tents on the site. Bookings can be made a maximum of 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelter before 8 PM, otherwise, your priority will be forfeited. You may set up a few supplementary tents near the shelter. If you want to ensure dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Spare living trees. Motor vehicle access to the site is not permitted, and permission cannot be applied for. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Follow the instructions on the info sign at the campsite. The shelter is named after the Danish Armed Forces’ former transport aircraft, the Dakota.
