Nordstjernen (bookbar)- Handicapvenligt shelter på Nordhus shelterplads

There are two disabled-friendly shelters on the site - Polaris and Nordstjernen. Nordstjernen can be booked by following the link here on the page, while Polaris can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, there is space for 10 tents. Overnight stays are permitted for two nights on the site. There is a disabled-friendly toilet without water on the site. You must bring your own toilet paper. It is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor for firewood. Do not break branches off living trees. Remember to extinguish the fire THOROUGHLY after use, so no embers remain - or stay until the fire has completely burned out to prevent wildfires. The site address is Mortingevej 5. If you come by car to the site, there is a parking lot off Mortingevej. From there, you can walk approximately 150 meters to the site. If you come by bus, you can get on and off at Klemenskervej 62, Rø, 3782 Klemensker. From there, it’s approximately a 20-minute walk through the forest to the site.
