Polaris - Handicapvenligt shelter på Nordhus shelterplads

There are two disability-friendly shelters at the site - Polaris and Nordstjernen. Nordstjernen can be booked, while Polaris can be used on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, there is space for 10 tents. Overnight stays are allowed for two nights at the site. There is a disability-friendly toilet without running water at the site. You must bring your own toilet paper. It is permitted to collect dead branches from the forest floor for firewood. Do not break branches off living trees. Remember to thoroughly extinguish the fire after you, so no embers remain – or stay until the fire has completely burned out to prevent a wildfire. The site’s address is Mortingevej 5. If you come by car to the site, there is a parking lot off Mortingevej. From here, you can walk approx. 150 meters to the site. If you come by bus, you can get on and off at Klemenskervej 62, Rø, 3782 Klemensker. From here, it’s approx. a 20-minute walk through the forest to the site.
