Bonfire hut with integrated shelters, accommodating 25-30 people. With a fire/grill pit and a table and bench set under a roof. Access to a composting toilet - bring your own toilet paper and hand sanitizer. If you want to ensure dry wood, you must bring your own, but it is otherwise permitted to gather wood from the forest floor for use in the fire pit. The bonfire hut/shelters must be booked via Naturstyrelsen’s website: www.nst.dk or by clicking on “Book lejrplads” under Stenderup Midtskov Shelters. If no one has booked the spot, it is available to anyone who wishes to settle down for a shorter or longer period – perhaps just for a brief rest around the fire pit or for an overnight stay.
