Bryrupbanestien, Brædstruppladsen (shelter 1)

Overnight site with two shelters, each accommodating approx. eight people. The site is equipped with a fire pit, table and bench set, water tap, forest latrine, and trash cans. There is wood available for firewood. Bring a saw or axe. The small paddock by the site is reserved for horses staying overnight. The site is surrounded by an earth mound to the east and west, and there is vegetation to the south. The site is designed as an overnight option for hikers, cyclists, and riders on Bryrupbanestien, which is a combined cycle, hiking, and riding trail. The site is located just west of Brædstrup town. Follow Bryrupbanestien (cycle route 31, Horsens-Silkeborg) north, where the site is found on the right side of the trail, approx. 800 m from the town center. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelters. On this page, you can book “shelter 1”. You can have a maximum of two consecutive overnight stays. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelters before 8 PM, otherwise your priority expires. The shelter has been built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
