Bryrupbanestien, Brædstruppladsen (shelter 2)

Overnight camping site with two shelters, each accommodating approx. eight people. The site is equipped with a fire pit, picnic tables, a water tap, a forest latrine, and trash cans. There is wood that can be used for firewood. Bring a saw or an axe. The small paddock at the site is reserved for horses staying overnight. The site is surrounded by an earthen mound to the east and west, and there is vegetation to the south. The site is designed as an overnight accommodation option for hikers, cyclists, and riders on Bryrupbanestien, which is a combined cycle-hike-bridle path. The site is located just west of Brædstrup town. Follow Bryrupbanestien (cycle route 31, Horsens-Silkeborg) north, where the site is found on the right side of the path, approx. 800 m from the town center. Leave the site as you would wish to find it. Advance booking: You can book priority for overnight stays in the shelters. On this page, you can book “shelter 2”. You can stay a maximum of two consecutive nights. Booking can be made no earlier than 3 months before the overnight stay. When booking, you must occupy the shelters before 8 PM, otherwise your priority will be forfeited. The shelter was built with support from A.P. Møller Fonden.
