About this spot
Here you will find an overnight site with room for approx. 20 overnight guests in two connected shelters. It is also permitted to pitch a couple of smaller tents. Teglstrup Hegn and Hellebæk Skov, together with Hellebæk Kohave, form an approximately 1000-hectare forest area with 500-year-old oak trees, an intact raised bog, a pasture with grazing cows, and lovely forest lakes. Read more here. At the shelter, there is a disabled toilet - contact [email protected] for the toilet code. When contacting for the toilet code - provide your booking date! The toilet and water are open from April 1st to October 31st. There is an electrical outlet at the shelter for charging electric wheelchairs. Leave the shelter site tidy, take your waste home, and extinguish the fire. Bring your own firewood - it is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor, but you cannot count on there being many. It is not permitted to drive directly to the shelter site - from the parking lot at Skindersøvej, there is approx. 150 m along a gravel road to the shelter site.
