Gøgen shelter

Gøgen shelter is located in the southern Teglstrup Hegn, close to Helsingør. There is space for 2 people, maybe 3 if sleeping close together. There is a small fire pit and a bench. The shelter is located close to some tall beech trees, so it is shady, and there is a very good view from inside the shelter itself, looking down over a small lake. The shelter can be found using the GPS coordinates, as it is not marked from the gravel road in the forest. You can also get there via public transport and alight at one of the bus stops on Esrumvej or Klostermosevej, which will entail a 1 to 2 kilometer walk to the shelter.
