Our shelter is strategically located on the 24 km long hiking trail that winds through forest, dune, and coast. The shelter site is equipped with a bonfire and seating, so you can enjoy a cozy evening under the stars. The shelter at Fælleden in Tversted is a special shelter focusing on accessibility and safety for all. It is part of Naturringen Tversted and is the only shelter on the route that belongs to Naturringen. This shelter is disability-friendly and equipped with a lift, which makes it possible for people with reduced mobility to safely access the shelter. The lift is locked, and therefore it is necessary to book the shelter in advance to receive a code for the lift’s lock. When you book the shelter, the number of people is simultaneously tracked, and you automatically receive the practical information – including the code for unlocking the lift.
