Tversted Klitplantage - Tversted Søerne

The parking lot is located at the end of Plantørvej. Tversted Søerne is an idyllic natural area, visited by many thousands of people every year. Adjacent to the parking lot, there is a large clearing for play and picnics, and several fire pits, as well as a waste bin and a toilet with drinking water that is open all year. There is a large log cabin where packed food can be eaten in dry conditions, and a natural playground with a path for wheelchair users onto the site. From the parking lot – in addition to walks to Tversted Søerne, the beach, and the plantation – you can walk to the dog forest and to Østerklit Stokmølle, where there is an exhibition, campsite, and shelter site. The MTB route starts in the southeast corner of the site. Overnight stays are not permitted at/by the parking lot. Keep the site neat and clean by taking your trash with you or depositing it in the waste bin.
