The shelters on Birkholm offer a unique opportunity for overnight stays in the middle of the archipelago. Fires can be made on the beach (remember to show consideration and leave the beach as you found it). Fires are not allowed at the shelters. Drinking water can be fetched at the island’s community hall. There is a toilet at the harbor. Toilet paper is usually available, but you never know, so consider bringing some extra yourself. Dogs allowed, if on a leash and you clean up after them. The shelters are booked on www.bookenshelter.dk.
