About this spot
Hjortø is one of the smallest inhabited islands in Denmark. There is a daily ferry connection to Svendborg, so there are no shops or eateries on the island. Therefore, all necessary provisions must be brought for a visit to the island. At the harbor, during the summer half of the year, there is a toilet, shower, and running water, as well as the possibility to charge your mobile phone. Right by the harbor is a primitive tent site with two shelters, where a tent can also be pitched. You can book space in the shelters here. On the harbor building, you will also find the stamp for your Island Pass.
