Helledes Bakke - Snudebillen, Blomstertægen og Græshoppen sheltere

The shelter site is located in 3 old gravel pits in Gribskov, approx. 500 m north of Gadevang. There are 3 smaller shelters with space for approx. 10 overnight guests. Additionally, there are tent sites nearby where approx. 5 smaller tents can be pitched. Close by are two primitive campsites that do not require booking. Water can be fetched at Naturstyrelsen’s operations buildings Helsingevej 7, approx. 1000 m from the shelter site. The shelter site must be booked. The nearest parking lot is 1.1 km away at Helsingevej. Driving into the forest to the shelter site is not allowed. You must bring your own firewood. It is permitted to collect branches from the forest floor for firewood. The shelter site must be left tidy, including the fire pit, and all waste must be carried out of the forest. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the shelter site.
