About this spot
OBS: Please note that Blochsgård is a shared site. This means that what is reserved is the large shelter, the front lawn, and half of the toilet. The site also serves as a rest stop and a small shelter site for other “hikers”. Blochsgård campsite in the southern part of Kærgård Plantage is located in the heart of the red deer’s core area between Ringkøbing Fjord and the Wadden Sea. The location is an excellent starting point for activities and experiences in stunning nature. There are sleeping spots for one school class at a time, and it can be supplemented with small tents. The West Coast Route passes nearby, and a yellow and a red hiking trail start from the site. If you are in a wheelchair or with a stroller, there is also an opportunity for a good hike on the “West Coast Route” cycling path. At the site there is: Toilet at the site with low access threshold. The surface at the site is grass, cobblestones, and tiles in the pavilions. Parking lot approx. 70 m from the picnic pavilion. There is no: Firewood at the site.
