Skarven shelter

Idyllically located shelter (named Skarven) with an associated fire pit on the shore of Esrum lake, offering views of the lake’s bird sanctuary. Good bathing opportunities, and a possibility to dock with a canoe/kayak/SUP. You may stay a maximum of two nights at the site. The shelter can easily accommodate two adults. At the site, there is also space to pitch your tent, and there are a total of 3 fire pits and 2 picnic table sets. You must bring your own water and firewood. However, branches may be gathered from the forest floor, but trees must not be felled. Remember to extinguish the fire before leaving the campsite, and take your trash with you #ournatureourresponsibility. Directions by car: Parking is available at a small parking lot on Nødebovej opposite Jægervænget, approximately 1km from the site. The road functions as a fire lane, so remember not to park in front of the chain barrier. Directions by Public Transport: Bus 307 from Hillerød stops at Jægervænget on Nødebovej, approximately 1km from the site.
