Glumsø Skov Shelterplads

ATTENTION! One shelter was vandalized and burned down on December 16, 2025. Thus, there is currently only one shelter on the site, and it must be booked in advance. Shelter located by a small lake in a partially open landscape within the newly planted forest near Glumsø town. The campsite must be booked if you want to ensure an overnight stay. Fire pit with fixed grill and composting toilet at the site, but drinking water must be brought. Some firewood can be gathered around the site, but if you want to ensure dry firewood, you should bring your own. A few supplementary tents can be set up next to the shelter. 4-6 people can sleep in the shelter. Maximum 2 nights. ATTENTION! During the summer half-year, there are grazing sheep in the enclosure. Dogs must therefore, as always, be on a leash throughout the stay.
