Glumsø skov

Glumsø forest is a smaller, newly established forest and nature area close to Glumsø town. From the town, there are paths to the new forest and to the nearby Glumsø lake. Glumsø forest is a collaborative project between Næstved municipality and Naturstyrelsen, in which a citizen group from Glumsø town also participated. The new forest is located west of the town and Glumsø lake, and offers many opportunities for outdoor activities. On Tornskadesletten close to the town, Næstved municipality has established a nature base, where there are also 2 table-bench sets with fire pits and a beautiful view of the lake. In collaboration with a local dog club, a dog forest with activity equipment for dogs has been established, and in the northern part of the area, there is a campsite with shelters and a fishing bridge on a small lake close to the campsite.
