About this spot
Here you can experience fantastic sunrises directly from your sleeping bag. The shelter is located 3 meters high and offers an eastern view over the dune heath and the sea. You will find a campfire site with a grill grate by the shelter, and a toilet and water (closed in winter) at the parking lot. If you are lucky, there will be firewood on site; otherwise, you are welcome to collect it from the forest floor. There are nice walks in the area on gravel paths or a trip to the beach. During dry periods, it is especially important to be careful with fires in this area. Always build fires in the fire pit and do not leave a lit fire unattended. You are welcome to set up a hammock between the trees next to the site. The shelter cannot be booked, but it is okay to pitch a small tent. The toilet/water is open from Easter until and including week 42. However, there is access to a composting toilet during the winter months. In 2022, 2 new smaller shelters were added to the site. The shelters are reserved for walkers and cyclists, and you may stay a maximum of 2 nights.
