Jerup Shelter

Here are large open expanses and easy access to the beach. The salt marshes around the shelters are rich in birdlife. There is only one dune between you and the sea. There is a toilet and water on site, and a fire pit just outside the shelters. The salt marshes have abundant birdlife; please show consideration for this when moving through the area. Especially during breeding season. The toilet and water are available from Easter up to and including week 42. The shelters are heavily used but cannot be booked. It is also possible to pitch a couple of small tents. The shelters are reserved for those arriving on foot, by bike, and from the waterside. You may stay overnight for a maximum of 2 nights.
