Kalø Hovedgård - Shelter nr. 3 (ikke bookbar)

Shelter site with 2 shelters for 5-6 people each. Shelter 3 cannot be reserved and is used on a first-come, first-served basis. Shelters 1 and 2 can be reserved and are a two-part shelter where each compartment is 163cm wide. Each compartment has space for 2-3 adults. At the site, there is a composting toilet and drinking water. Flush toilets are available at Kalø Hovedgård’s visitor center Karlsladen. In Karlsladen, you can learn more about Mols Bjerge and the history of Kalø. There is a campfire hut and exercise equipment at the outdoor fitness area, which is adjacent to the shelter site. It is possible to park the car for free and without time restrictions at Karlsladen, just under 250 meters north of the site. The shelters are highly situated in the landscape with views of fields, forest, and water. And not least, a view of Kalø Slotsruin, which is the area’s most visited tourist attraction. Although the site is close to a road, there is plenty of birdsong and tranquility with ample space for cozy moments.
