Kalø Hovedgård - shelter nr. 1 (bookbar)

Shelter site with 2 shelters, each accommodating 5-6 people. Shelter 1 and 2 can be reserved and are two-part shelters where each compartment is 163cm wide. Each compartment has space for 2-3 adults. Shelter 3 cannot be reserved and is used on a first-come, first-served basis. At the site, there is a composting toilet and drinking water. Flush toilets are available at Kalø Hovedgård’s visitor center, Karlsladen. At Karlsladen, you can learn more about Mols Bjerge and the history of Kalø. There is a campfire hut and training equipment at the outdoor fitness area, which is adjacent to the shelter site. It is possible to park cars for free and without time limit at Karlsladen, approximately 250 meters north of the site. The shelters are located high in the landscape with views over fields, forest, and water. And not least, a view of Kalø Castle Ruin, which is the area’s most visited tourist attraction. Even though the site is close to a road, there is plenty of birdsong and tranquility with ample space for cozy moments.
