Tornby Klitplantage - Lejrpladsen

The campsite is located in Tornby Klitplantage next to the forest road Plantørvej, in connection with Vestkystruten (National Cycle Route No. 1) and Nordsøstien. At the campsite, you can stay overnight in a shelter or tents, cook food over a campfire, and engage in other activities. The site can only be booked by groups such as school classes or scout groups. When not booked, the site can be used on a “first come, first served” basis. Move closer together to make space for more. At the site, there are tables/benches and a campfire site with a grill grate. Efforts are made to provide firewood, but it cannot be guaranteed. Use firewood thoughtfully so there’s enough for the next visitors. It is also permitted to collect dry branches from the forest floor for the campfire. Remember to extinguish the fire thoroughly when you are done. Next to the site (a little closer to the forest road) there is a toilet building with a privy and, in summer, washbasins and a drinking water tap. Keep the site tidy. There is no trash can, so always take your waste with you. The nearest parking lot is on Russerbakkevej, approximately 400 meters north of the site. It is NOT permitted to drive to the site by car.
